Algunos especialistas en ufología y gran parte del público se han interesado en los acontecimientos de Roswell. Se han escrito muchos libros y rodado películas sobre los presuntos sucesos; tanto novelas de ficción como informes serios y elaborados.
Los partidarios de la hipótesis extraterrestre consideran el caso Roswell como uno de los acontecimientos ufológicos más importantes; ya que a partir de este suceso comenzó la historia de la ufología moderna.
Con este caso todos nos formulamos la siguiente pregunta ¿que paso realmente en el incidente de Roswell?
La Autopsia del Alíen de Roswell
1947, una nave extraterrestre impacta sobre Roswell (Nuevo México). El relato supone el nacimiento de la ufología moderna e incluye hasta una autopsia a un alíen. Años después, el director afirma que el documental es falso, pero que existe uno real.
El resultado de esa supuesta y peliculera primera autopsia que jugó con las ganas de un público ávido por descubrir vida en el espacio se tituló; Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction. Un infame documental donde se podían ver las presuntas operaciones realizadas en el cuerpo de un extraterrestre tras el accidente sufrido cerca de Roswell.
Evidentemente, para que la obra tuviera la resonancia que tuvo; la televisión y una cadena en concreto tuvieron mucho que ver. Fox emitió el film en Estados Unidos el 28 de agosto de 1995 y el programa fue un éxito sin precedentes.
El documental causó tal sensación, que hasta la revista Time declaró que se había desatado un debate “con una intensidad no prodigada en ningún hogar desde el vídeo de la muerte de JKF”. De hecho, la cadena reemitió el programa dos veces; cada vez con mayor índice de audiencia; captando cada vez mas publico sobre el caso Roswell.
Las 10 Verdades Sobre el Caso Roswell
1- La base aérea de Roswell emitió el día 8 de julio de 1947 una nota de prensa en la que afirmaba haber encontrado los restos accidentados de un “platillo volante”.
2- Al día siguiente, la Octava Fuerza Aérea; su general jefe Roger Ramey, el coronel Thomas J. DuBose, y del mayor Jesse Marcel; convoca a la prensa para mostrar el material supuestamente recuperado e informar de que la nota de prensa del día anterior había sido un error. La nueva versión dice que, en realidad, los materiales encontrados pertenecían a un globo aerostático de meteorología. La prensa fotografió los restos y la opinión pública olvidó el caso Roswell.
3- El militar encargado de recuperar los restos; Jesse Marcel (coronel retirado) declaró en varias entrevistas que lo que se mostró a la prensa no fue lo que él recuperó en el rancho de Roswell.
4- Existen varias entrevistas en vídeo en las que Marcel explica que entre los restos encontrados había trozos de mayor tamaño de algo parecido al metal. Finos como el envoltorio de un paquete de cigarrillos, y que cuando los levantaron; les pareció como si no hubiese nada en sus manos. Afirma que; aunque eran muy finos, no se partían. También había trozos de una especie de vigas pequeñas y ligeras que tenían dibujados extraños símbolos que a Marcel le recordaron a jeroglíficos.
5- Nunca habló de que encontraran restos biológicos de ningún tipo.
6- El ranchero Willian Mac Brazel murió en 1963, pero otros testigos que vieron directamente los restos, como Bill Brazel, hijo del ranchero Mac Brazel o el hijo del Teniente Coronel retirado Jesse Marcel; el Comandante y médico de vuelo Jessel Marcel Jr., hicieron declaraciones grabadas en vídeo que apoyan lo dicho por Marcel.
7- Desde que las declaraciones de Marcel se hacen públicas, otros militares directamente involucrados en los hechos, como el general retirado Thomas J. DuBose, que aparece en las fotos del 9 de julio de 1947; no desmienten las declaraciones de Marcel sino que apoyan y corroboran una importante parte de ellas. Por ejemplo, existe una entrevista en vídeo en la que DuBose afirma que la versión del globo fue una tapadera usada para “persuadir la curiosidad de la prensa”.
8- En 2012, Chase Brandon, un agente jubilado de la CIA con más de 35 años de servicio activo; declaró que durante la última etapa de su carrera en la agencia, tuvo acceso a una sección especial en la sede de la CIA en Langley, Virginia, donde vio una caja que contenía documentos que dejaban claro que lo que se estrelló en Roswell en 1947 fue una nave de procedencia extraterrestre. Brandon señaló que por su compromiso de confidencialidad; no puede especificar más.
9- A lo largo de la década de los 90, las Fuerzas Aéreas elaboraron dos extensos informes tratando de dar explicación al incidente Roswell. El primero de ellos sostenía que el globo recuperado pertenecía a un proyecto secreto llamado MOGUL y el segundo que los cuerpos que algunos testigos afirmaron ver eran muñecos de pruebas aeronáuticas.
10- Ambas conclusiones han sido rebatidas; en el primer caso explicando que lo que era secreto en el proyecto MOGUL era el propósito de los globos y no los materiales con que estaban hechos; y en el segundo caso; demostrando que los muñecos de pruebas fueron usados a partir de 1953.
