In the UK, political donations are regulated to ensure transparency and fairness. Generally, foreigners cannot donate to UK political parties. Donations can only come from “permissible donors,” which include:
Individuals registered on the UK electoral register (this includes British citizens, and Irish, EU, or qualifying Commonwealth citizens living in the UK).
UK-registered companies that carry on business in the UK.
UK-registered trade unions, building societies, and certain other organizations
So, unless a foreigner is registered to vote in the UK or meets other specific criteria, they cannot donate to UK political parties
