Cachopo: a gooey, meat feast from Asturias
This northern region does a great line in hearty cuisine, none heartier than the fried steak-cheese-ham combo that is cachopo. It sounds like a carnivore’s dream: two steaks, sandwiched together with cheese and a slice of ham, all coated in bread crumbs and fried up into a gooey, meaty plateful.
